Thanksgiving weekend, traditionally, includes some fantastic football action - at both the collegiate and professional level. This year, there's another major sports even sandwiched in between the action. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will be playing one-on-one for $9 million on Friday.

The event is expected to do well, but it doesn't seem like all of Tiger and Phil's peers are impressed with the idea. One took to Twitter this week to express his disgust.

Eddie Pepperell, a British golfer who performed well in both the British Open and the PGA Championship this year, says it's "not attractive" what Tiger and Phil are doing.

He went as far as to call the situation "pathetic."

Pepperell then took a few shots at the national debt situation in the United States, suggesting the winning golfer should donate it towards that.

Either way, the two will tee off against each other at 3:00 PM ET. The event will only be available on Pay-Per-View.
