Erin Andrews Will No Longer Cover College Football For Fox, Will Be Network's Top NFL Sideline Reporter

Erin Andrews, arguably Fox Sports' most famous television personality, is stepping away from college football. Andrews will now be part of the network's NFL coverage as its lead sideline reporter, according to Sports Illustrated's Richard Deitsch.

The move coincides with the news Sports Illustrated broke earlier this week that Pam Oliver is moving to the network’s No. 2 team for her 20th NFL broadcasting season and Andrews has been elevated to the No. 1 sideline spot, joining the team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. Andrews also has entertainment responsibilities with Dancing With The Stars.

Andrews was the host of Fox Sports 1's two college football studio shows last year, "Fox College Football Kickoff" and "Fox College Saturday." Andrews has made no secret of her desire to do NFL games for Fox, saying that working in the NFL has been a dream of hers for some time. While it's good that Andrews is doing something she has aspired to do for a while, college football fans will certainly miss her.
