North Carolina is officially searching for a new head coach, as the Tar Heels announced Larry Fedora's firing this morning.

Several names have been thrown out for UNC's head coaching vacancy, though one ESPN analyst claims to know who the Tar Heels will be hiring.

Tom Luginbill, an ESPN college football insider, says former Texas head coach Mack Brown will be UNC's next head coach.

“Mack Brown will be the head coach for a second tenure at North Carolina. Mark it down," he said this morning.

Brown, 67, was North Carolina's head coach from 1988-97 before leaving for the Texas job.

The former Longhorns' head coach hasn't coached since 2013, his final year at Texas.
