LeBron James' first return to Cleveland as a member of the Miami Heat was one of the most-anticipated regular season games in NBA history. The Cavs' crowd was, unsurprisingly, extremely hostile.
What will Cleveland be like when LeBron makes his return as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers? Surely, it'll be less hostile.
We now know when that game will be taking place.
ESPN NBA insider Dave McMenamin is reporting that LeBron and the Lakers will be returning to Cleveland in November.
"LeBron James will make his return to Cleveland to play the Cavs for the first time as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 21, league sources tell ESPN," he reports.
The crowd won't be as hostile as it was when LeBron was on the Heat, but there will probably be at least some boos sprinkled in among the cheers.
Other details of LeBron's schedule with the Lakers were released earlier today. LeBron is set to begin his 2018-19 season in Portland. His first home game as a member of the Lakers is set to come against the Rockets.
LeBron James and Co. are set to learn their full 2018-19 NBA schedule on Friday, when everyone's full slate of games is being released.
