ESPN is reportedly heading for more layoffs within the next few weeks.
Earlier this year, ESPN laid off more than 100 on-air talent and other employees.
Despite the major overhaul, ESPN is reportedly not done yet. The network is expected to layoff more than 100 staffers within the next few weeks, according to a report from Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated before Thanksgiving.
Deitsch is now reporting that the layoffs will center around ESPN’s behind-the-scenes personnel rather than the camera-facing names we’re accustomed to seeing.
One update on ESPN layoffs: Hearing the job losses for this round will be concentrated on behind-the-scenes people/positions in multiple depts. Not many front-facing (on-air) names expected, if any. Having been through too many at Time Inc, it all sucks.

The layoffs from earlier in the year included some high-profile employees such as John Clayton, Ed Werder, and Dana O’Neil, among others.
We’ll keep you updated as more becomes known about the reported layoffs.
