Any college football fan knows it's never too early to start talking about the upcoming season.

In anticipation of next season, ESPN has updated its Football Power Index projections. Who does the FPI like in the Big Ten? Who does it not like?

Find out below:

Best team: Ohio State

The FPI thinks the Buckeyes have a pretty good chance at making the College Football Playoff. It has Ohio State as the No. 4 team in the country with a projected record of 10.3-2.0.

Ohio State is given a 6.6% chance to run the table and a 28.1% chance to win the Big Ten. They're playing against the 59th-hardest schedule in the country.

Worst team: Indiana

The FPI doesn't have a whole lot of faith in the Hoosiers. It has Indiana ranked No. 66 in the nation heading into the 2018 season. That’s good for dead last in the Big Ten.

The FPI projects Indiana to go 4.5-7.5 this season. It has the IU as the favorite in just four of their 12 contests, so it might be a rough season in Bloomington.
