College football talk is heating up across the country. It's spring football season. Before you know it, the summer will be here and teams will be reporting to preseason camp.

In anticipation of the upcoming season, ESPN has updated its Football Power Index projections. The FPI has predictions for every team in the country.

Who does the FPI like in the SEC? Who does the FPI not like in the SEC? Find out below.

Best team: Alabama

The FPI, unsurprisingly, is very high on the Crimson Tide, the reigning national champions, heading into the 2018 season. It has Alabama ranked No. 2 in the country, behind only Clemson.

The FPI projects Alabama to go 10.8-1.8 in 2018. It has the Crimson Tide favored in all 12 of their games.

Worst team: Vanderbilt

The FPI is, unsurprisingly, not high on the Commodores. It has Vanderbilt ranked No. 76 in the country heading into the 2018 season. That's last in the SEC.

The FPI projects Vanderbilt to go 3.9-8.2 this season. It has the Commodores as the favorite in just three of their 12 contests. It could be a rough year in Nashville.
