Today's NFC East showdown between longtime rivals has been just what we expected. The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins are in a dogfight.

At halftime, the game is tied at 7. Both defensive units have shown up, and the offenses have been been struggling.

Washington jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a first quarter touchdown pass from Alex Smith to Kapri Bibbs. The Redskins maintained that lead until late in the second quarter.

A long touchdown toss from Dak Prescott to Michael Gallup knotted things up at 7. The Redskins threatened on their final drive of the half, but could not get in field goal range.

ESPN has released its second half prediction. The computer likes the Redskins to pull it out.

Washington has a 54.8 percent chance of winning.
