While the college football season is approaching the end, there is still one more intense rivalry game yet to be played. On Saturday, the Navy Midshipmen face the Army Black Knights in the 119th meeting between the two sides.
The Midshipmen own a 3-9 record, meanwhile the Black Knights are 9-2 with one loss coming at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners.
Navy has played against several elite programs, including Notre Dame and UCF. Army had an easier schedule overall, but that shouldn’t diminish its success throughout the year.
Although both sides are expected to give their best efforts of the entire season, ESPN’s matchup predictor gives the overwhelming edge to the Black Knights. According to the FPI, Army has a 77.9 percent chance of winning the game. It should be an intriguing matchup, as both teams are accustomed to defending the triple-option offense.
Navy and Army will kick off at 3:00 p.m. ET from Lincoln Financial Field.
The game will be available on CBS.
