Following its improbable victory over Oregon, Stanford will make another road trip, as it faces Notre Dame this weekend.
The Fighting Irish were barely getting by their competition through their first three games, but then Brian Kelly made a change at quarterback. With Ian Book now under center, Notre Dame is ready to continue its winning ways.
In his first start this season, Book dismantled Wake Forest with 325 passing yards and five total touchdowns. Although he'll face one of the best defenses in Stanford, the Fighting Irish are still the favorites in this matchup.
As of right now, ESPN's FPI gives Notre Dame an overwhelming 67.2 percent chance of winning. This game could provide a statement victory for either program, especially for Notre Dame. While its lack of a conference schedule can hinder its resume at times, earning quality wins will certainly help its case.
Stanford and Notre Dame will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will be on NBC.
