ESPN’s Joe Lunardi Releases New NCAA Tournament Bracket For 2019

We're three weeks into college basketball season, and we've already had upsets, buzzer-beaters and thrilling finishes. There will be plenty more to come.

March is still three months away, but that doesn't mean it is too soon to look ahead to the NCAA Tournament. It will be here sooner than you think.

ESPN's resident bracketologist Joe Lunardi has unveiled an updated 2019 NCAA Tournament projection.

This will change a lot, but here are the top seeds in the latest "Bracketology" from Lunardi:

  • No. 1 seeds: Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, Virginia
  • No. 2 seeds: Nevada, North Carolina, Auburn, Nevada
  • No. 3 seeds: Florida State, Kansas State, Michigan State, Tennessee
  • No. 4 seeds: Purdue, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Texas Tech

Other notable teams include Villanova and Ohio State (both five-seeds), Indiana (a No. 7 seed) and Syracuse (No. 9 seed).
