ESPN's Latest Final 4 Prediction

March Madness has begun. Well, kind of.

It's still February, but it's the last day of February, and the Big Ten's conference tournament has started. The other major conference tournaments will take place next week. The NCAA Tournament is almost here.

We're less than two weeks away from Selection Sunday. It's set for Sunday, March 11. The tournament will start a couple of days after that.

Who's going to make it to the Final Four this year? There's no obvious national title favorite this season, but there does seem to be a class of upper-echelon teams.

ESPN's Basketball Power Index has updated its rankings.

The BPI is a "measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of performance going forward. BPI represents how many points above or below average a team is."

According to the BPI, here are the four Final Four favorites:





This isn't anything too surprising. The only one that might somewhat qualify is Purdue, since Michigan State was the team that won the Big Ten and is in contention for a No. 1 seed.
