One of the top graduate transfer guards in the country has made his decision. He's headed to the Big Ten.

Ryan Taylor, a graduate transfer guard from Evansville, has committed to Northwestern. ESPN's Jeff Goodman and 247Sports' Evan Daniels both broke the news.

Taylor was arguably the biggest graduate transfer guard on the market. He had interest from a number of big-time schools.

The top scorer heard from programs like: Butler, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Illinois, Georgetown, Creighton, Minnesota, BC, Indiana, UCLA, Arizona, Wake Forest, Miami, Purdue, Baylor, Maryland and Missouri.

Taylor lead the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring, averaging 21.2 points per game. He shot 42 percent from the 3-point line.

This is a massive addition to Northwestern's 2018-19 team. Taylor should be one of the best guards in the Big Ten next season.

The Wildcats had a disappointing 2017-18, going 15-17 after an NCAA Tournament appearance the season prior. Taylor is a player who can help Northwestern get back to the tournament.
