Everyone Made The Same Joke When Arizona Lost To Buffalo

The first Cinderella of the 2018 NCAA Tournament was crowned in stunning fashion.

On Thursday night, No. 13 Buffalo upset No. 4 Arizona by a margin of 21 points - desecrating brackets on its way to the second round of the tourney.

Clearly, this was not the way anyone expected a talented Wildcats squad that captured the Pac-12 Championship and boasted arguably two of the best players in the country to exit the Big Dance. While Arizona's quest to claim the program's first title since 1997 was cut brutally short - there's always a silver lining, right? The Wildcats now have more time to focus on the FBI investigation - one which allegedly centers around head coach Sean Miller committing major NCAA violations. After the loss, the internet was quick to point out that at least Zona won't have to vacate any NCAA Tournament wins from this season. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

With Arizona's season officially over, its stars aren't sticking around for what's next. Deandre Ayton and Allonzo Trier declared for the NBA Draft immediately after the loss.
