Everything We Know About Tiger Woods' Arrest So Far

The star golfer was arrested in his hometown early this morning.

Tiger Woods was arrested early this morning. Here's what we know so far.

The 41-year-old 14-time Major champion golfer was arrested shortly after 3 a.m. E.T. on Military Trail South of Indian Creek Parkway in Jupiter, Fla. He was then booked in jail at 7:18 a.m. E.T. After spending a couple of hours in jail, Woods was released on his "own cognizance" at 10:50 a.m. E.T.

Woods was pulled over about 3 miles from his restaurant, The Woods Jupiter. It's unclear where Woods was prior to his arrest.

Woods' mugshot came out shortly after his arrest. It's, unsurprisingly, not good.

Woods, who owns a mansion in Jupiter, Fla. worth a reported $80 million, has reportedly been living in the home since 2010.

The once-king of the PGA Tour has been sidelined for months as he recovers from back surgery and he's not expected to play again this year.
