The father of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott finds himself in some trouble with the law. He was arrested over the weekend.

According to reports, Nathaniel Prescott was stopped while driving on Highway 87 in Texas on Saturday. Authorities say they found marijuana in the driver's side door of his vehicle.

Prescott, 57, was booked on a misdemeanor charge. He posted a $500 bond and was released.

As far as legal troubles go, this one seems quite minor. It sounds like troopers found a small amount of marijuana in the car, and Prescott was out on bond after being charged with only a misdemeanor.

Still, this isn't exactly fun news for Dak. He's been under criticism from some lately for his stance on players protesting during the national anthem, and now his dad has been arrested.

We're going to guess that Dak has had better offseasons.
