Florida Players Upset With Fans After Hurricane Forces Game Cancellation

Hurricane Matthew has forced the LSU-Florida game to be postponed and these Florida players aren't too happy with the reactions coming from fans.

Due to Hurricane Matthew, it was announced earlier on Thursday that the LSU-Florida game, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed. The game was set to take place in Gainesville, Florida.

As you can imagine, the news has been a major talking point on Twitter. Florida defensive linemen Caleb Brantley and CeCe Jefferson have expressed that Hurricane Matthew is a bigger deal than a football game:

Jefferson is from Glen St. Mary, Florida while Brantley's hometown is Crescent City, Florida.

The Category 4 hurricane is expected to be the most-devastating hurricane to hit Florida since Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

At this time there is no scheduled make up date for the Gators and Tigers matchup.
