A lot happened at the end of Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals. Too much happened to keep track of, really.

Things boiled over with a couple of seconds remaining in overtime, when Tristan Thompson was ejected for an apparent elbow throw at Shaun Livingston. Draymond Green was taunting Thompson and the Cavs' forward got in his face, shoving the ball at him.

Thompson eventually made his way to the locker room. Things settled down a bit.

A new photo, however, shows that one Cleveland Cavaliers player got off the bench and took a couple of steps onto the floor.

Now, using common sense, this should not result in any kind of punishment for Kevin Love. However, the NBA does have a strict rule that says any player who leaves the bench during an altercation will be suspended for the following game.

Please, NBA: Do not do that. Use your head.

Game 2 of the NBA Finals is set for Sunday night. Tipoff is at 8 p.m. E.T. on ABC. Update: Here's a better look at what happened. Love was making his way onto the court while play was stopped and then immediately goes to the bench when the situation escalates.
