FOX Sports Announces Jamie Horowitz Is Leaving The Network Immediately

FOX Sports has announced via an internal memo that Jamie Horowitz is out.

According to a leaked internal memo obtained by John Ourand of Sports Business Journal, Jamie Horowitz, President of National Networks at FOX Sports, is out at the network. Horowitz was recently in the news regarding the network's new direction online - ditching written content for an all-video gameplan.

Ourand posted a copy of the internal email. Eric Shanks, president of the network, used interesting wording regarding the separation.

At this point, it's unclear what led to Horowitz's departure.

Horowitz, prior to working at FOX, was the VP of Original Programming and Production at ESPN and later an SVP for the TODAY Show at NBC.
