On Friday night, Game 3 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox set a record for the longest game in World Series history. Seven hours and 18 innings after it started, the Dodgers walked out with a 3-2 win in Game 3.

Max Muncy hit a walk-off homer to keep the Dodgers' hopes alive and cut the Red Sox lead to 2-1.

Before the game kicked off, Fox Sports released a tweet showing the star power in the stands - it is Los Angeles after all. The network posted a photo of actor Rob Lowe and everyone's favorite scientist Bill Nye.

There was only one problem - Bill Nye wasn't in the photo.

Fox Sports confused Bill Nye with legendary Dodgers' pitcher Sandy Koufax.

The tweet didn't stay up for long, but the internet doesn't forget.

In the end, Koufax and the Dodgers faithful were rewarded with a victory and a shot in the series.
