Golf Legend Arnold Palmer Has Passed Away At 87
Golfing legend Arnold Palmer has died at the age of 87, according to multiple reports.
Palmer, a native of Latrobe, Pa., won seven major titles during his incredible career. He also owns the fifth-most PGA Tour wins with 62.
Throughout his career, Palmer became one of the most recognizable and beloved sports figures. He was a two-time PGA Tour Player of the Year and was named Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year in 1960.
A graduate of Wake Forest, Palmer racked up 95 professional wins. He captured all seven of his majors in a six-year span from 1958-1964.
