Grayson Allen Got Away With An Obvious Travel On A Fast Break Dunk

Grayson Allen appeared to get away with a travel on this dunk.

Duke and Kansas are locked in a tight battle in which every basket will likely matter. One that the Blue Devils scored probably should not have counted.

Duke senior Grayson Allen, after picking off a pass from Kansas forward Svi Mykhailiuk, gathered the ball the raced towards the basket to throw it down. But he never took a step after the three-point line. It was clearly a travel.

You could argue that the dribble he takes before the three-point line was part of him collecting a loose ball. But even still - he takes three steps after that as well.

Instead, the dunk counted, and Duke, at the time, had a three-point lead.

Allen has actually had a quiet game thus far, taking just five shots. He's got five points on 2-of-5 shooting.

Duke, meanwhile, has a three-point lead at halftime. The Blue Devils lead the Jayhaws 36-33 with a spot in the Final Four on the line.
