Gregg Marshall's Wife Is Going Viral On Twitter Again

We have our first upset of the day in the 2018 NCAA Tournament. A No. 4 seed went down.

Wichita State, the No. 4 seed in the East Region, fell to No. 13 seed Marshall. The Thundering Herd move on to face the winner of No. 5 West Virginia/No. 12 Murray State.

Everyone has taken to Twitter after the game to make the same joke. It concerns the wife of Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall.

Twitter is ruthless.

Marshall's wife is one of the most-passionate spouses in all of college sports. She went viral during Wichita State's loss to Kentucky last year.

"We had some fun sitting next to the Wichita State section and it almost cost me my NCAA credential, which I intend to use next weekend in Memphis and then again in Phoenix.

It all happened when I shared a video of the craziest woman in the arena, who happened to be right next to me, and who happened to be the wife of Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall. It didn’t take long for the tweet to get to her and that’s when all hell broke loose," reported Kentucky Sports Radio.

Wichita State will be back next year, probably. And so will the passion of the fan base.

Marshall, meanwhile, will play in the Second Round on Sunday.
