Here’s What Jemele Hill Tweeted After Michael Smith’s Sign-Off

Jemele Hill speaks on ESPN's SportsCenter.

Jemele Hill and Michael Smith found early success with their show, His & Hers, which launched a new, unique edition of SportsCenter that aired at 6:00 p.m. ET. The show, titled SC6, was supposed to be a continuation of the chemistry displayed between Hill and Smith.

13 months later, though, the show has come to an end. Both Michael and Jemele have now left the show - Jemele to join The Undefeated, an ESPN microsite that blends sports and culture.

Michael Smith's role at ESPN going forward has yet to be defined, but the former SportsCenter co-host still has multiple years left on his deal with the Worldwide Leader. On Friday, Smith hosted his final show.

After signing off, his former co-host tweeted this.

So, what's next for Michael Smith? As of right now, that's between ESPN and Michale Smith, but the Worldwide Leader put out a statement signaling the end of Smith's run on SportsCenter, but lauded his talent.

We'll have to wait and see where Smith lands, but Jemele didn't rule out the possibility of the two working together again at some point. Many are hoping the two reignite their His & Hers podcast.
