Here's What Katie Nolan Will Be Doing For ESPN

Katie Nolan on her show Garbage Time.

She's officially the newest part of the network.

On Wednesday morning ESPN announced that it hired former Fox Sports personality Katie Nolan.

The Emmy-winning host of Garbage Time  was granted an early release from her contract last week, and it didn't take long for her to find a new home.

So what will Nolan be doing in her new job?

According to a release from ESPN, she won't be tied down to just one position, at least not right away.

ESPN announced today that it has hired Emmy-winning sports personality Katie Nolan. Nolan joins ESPN on October 16 and will appear across multiple platforms in a variety of projects. She will have a prominent digital presence while also making appearances across ESPN studio programming. Announcements regarding her specific assignments are forthcoming.

We'll get a clearer picture of her role with ESPN later on.

It was recently reported that Nolan turned down a role on Mike Greenberg’s new show on ESPN, so it will be interesting to see where the network slots her.
