High School Football Player Ejected After Vicious Targeting Hit On Wide Receiver

High school football player lays down vicious hit.

This is one of the worst hits you'll ever see.

A high school football game Friday night at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii featured one of the most vicious hits you'll ever see.

In the first quarter of a game between Mililani and Wainae, quarterback Dillon Gabriel attempted to find wideout Ryan Chang down the sideline. Defensive back Sam Freeney hit Chang with one of the most jarring helmet-to-helmet hits we've seen in quite some time.

Chang didn't return to the game - and neither did Freeney. Freeney was hit with a targeting penalty and was ejected from the game.

Here's video of the hit - it's rough to watch.

Chang's team, Mililani, won the game in a blowout, 42-6. Let's hope he's okay moving forward.
