How Cavs Players Have Reacted To Tyronn Lue's Firing

Cavs players are reportedly not happy with the franchise's decision to fire head coach Tyronn Lue following the team's 0-6 start to the 2018-19 NBA regular season.

Cleveland reportedly decided this morning to fire Lue, who helped lead the franchise to an NBA championship in 2016.

Cavs star forward Kevin Love, who agreed to a massive extension with the franchise this summer, reacted to the firing on Instagram.

"You helped me see the big picture. Life changing experiences and teaching points. Nothing but love and admiration. Know we will work towards something greater together again. THANK YOU," he wrote.

Cavs guard J.R. Smith also posted a similar photo on Instagram, thanking Lue.

Tristan Thompson did as well:

"Thank you for always believing in me and being the great leader that you are. 3 straight finals in your first 3 years as a head coach is something special. THANK YOU COACH!"

Cavs insider Joe Vardon is reporting that several of the team's players are not happy with the decision to fire Lue. "Cavs' players are 'pissed' over Lue's firing, sources tell me. You're seeing it play out on social media," he reports.

The Cavs have looked like the worst team in the NBA so far this season, but a coaching change after six games does seem to be a bit of an overreaction.
