Here's how much the gloves the Americans are wearing cost.

The 2018 Winter Olympics' opening ceremonies are being televised on NBC tonight. The games in South Korea are underway.

Team USA was introduced about halfway through the ceremony. This year's American team features 244 athletes - 135 men, 109 women.

As they have been for several Olympics, Team USA's opening ceremony outfit was done by Ralph Lauren. It's an expensive outfit.

The total cost of the outfit (to buy) is $5,855. And, no, that wasn't a typo.

The most-viral aspect of Team USA's outfit has to be the gloves. They've been the talk of social media tonight.

The suede gloves are crazy big. They feature quite a bit of fray, too.

The cost of the gloves? $995. And they're all sold-out on Ralph Lauren's website.

The gloves do have a Dumb and Dumber feel to them. Lloyd Christmas wore them first, after all.

What do you think? Are they worth $995?
