Sean Lee has been one of the best linebackers in the NFL - when he's been healthy - and the Dallas Cowboys' defense has played really well so far this season.

The Cowboys have looked great tonight, holding the New York Giants' offense to three points midway through the fourth quarter. Lee, a longtime Cowboys' standout, has been a major part of the effort.

Lee appears to have gotten injured late in the game, though.

The Dallas Cowboys' sideline reporter is reporting that Lee suffered an injury on the last play of the Giants' most-recent drive. He's now being looked at.

"@KristiCowboy reporting that LB Sean Lee was hurt on the final play of that last defensive series, and had about six Cowboys personnel surrounding him on the sideline," Mike Leslie tweeted.

Lee, who's dealt with multiple injuries over the years, apparently wanted no part of the blue medical tent tonight. However, the Cowboys were able to convince him to go inside. "Sean Lee being looked at by the team's medical staff. They put up the blue medical tent and Lee wanted no part of going in it. It appeared that he had to be talked into going in. Eventually he did. That's where he is right now," Jon Machota tweeted.

Update: Sean Lee has now gotten out of the tent. He appears to be OK.

"Sean Lee is out of the tent. He's now running up and down the sideline. Just put his helmet back on. Doesn't appear to be too serious," Jon Machota tweeted.

The Cowboys are leading the Giants, 13-1, with less than 7 minutes to play.
