Michigan's football program is currently on serious upset alert against Northwestern, as the Wolverines are trailing the Wildcats by double-digits as we approach halftime.

Jim Harbaugh's team might have taken an injury hit before the second half, too.

Michigan star Donovan Peoples-Jones did not go out to return a punt before the end of the first half. He wasn't seen out on the field with the offense, either.

The Wolverines' radio team is reporting that Peoples-Jones is not seen on the sideline, either.

"I can't find DPJ on the sideline and UM radio confirming same," a Michigan beat reporter tweeted.

It appears that DPJ headed to the locker room with a couple of minutes left in the first half.

The reason for Peoples-Jones' departure from the game is unclear at this point. Stay tuned for updates.
