New York Giants offensive lineman Jon Halapio suffered an apparent injury in the third quarter of tonight's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Here is the latest on the injury suffered by the 27-year-old offensive lineman.

Halapio, who's entering his third season with the Giants, appeared to suffer a leg injury when he was hit from behind during a running scrum.

The offensive lineman had to be carted off the field. An air cast was put on his leg.

It certainly didn't look good. "Cart coming out for Halapio and they're putting his right leg into an air cast. Looks like John Greco will take over at center tonight and for a long while based on the reaction to Halapio's injury," Dan Duggan tweeted.

Here's video of the injury. It's tough to watch.

Hopefully the injury is not as bad as it looks.

The Giants currently trail the Cowboys, 13-3. The game is on NBC.
