On Thursday night the Houston Rockets traveled to Miami to take on the Heat. After starting the season on an awful run, the Rockets have battled back as of late - mostly due to the impressive performances from James Harden over the past few games.

While the Rockets have been led by Harden, point guard Chris Paul has been a vital piece of the comeback as well. On Thursday night, however, the team received some tough news.

Paul left the game in the first half and appeared to be favoring his left hamstring. The Rockets announced during the first half that Paul is now out for the game with a strained left hamstring.

The star point guard missed the final two games of the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors with a hamstring injury - which may have cost the Rockets a spot in the NBA Finals.

Houston leads Miami 58-53 at the half.
