On Saturday night the NFL took advantage of college football’s bowl season by placing two games on the schedule. The first is a match-up between two teams going in opposite directions in the Houston Texans and New York Jets.
After starting the season 0-3, Houston reeled off nine-straight wins before falling last weekend. Meanwhile, the Jets are struggling with rookie quarterback Sam Darnold under center – though the team won behind a solid performance from Darnold last weekend.
The Houston Texans jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but the Jets answered right back with a field goal of their own.
Then the Texans received some bad news. Starting running back Lamar Miller suffered what looked to be a lower leg injury after he got rolled up on by a defensive lineman.
Miller is officially questionable to return after heading to the locker room early.
