Here's what Isaiah Thomas' agent reportedly texted about the trade.

Isaiah Thomas is now a Los Angeles Laker. The former Boston Celtics star was moved by Cleveland prior to the NBA's trade deadline this afternoon.

The IT era with the Cavs was nothing short of a disaster. He struggled on the court coming back from an injury and he was constantly speaking out in the media.

Now, he goes to a Lakers team that isn't close to competing for a playoff spot. He'll probably be coming off the bench.

How does the former All-Star guard feel about all of this? Well...

Isaiah Thomas' agent reportedly sent a text message to ESPN's Rachel Nichols about the possibility of his client coming off the bench. That text message:

"HE'S NOT COMING OFF THE BENCH."

Thomas' agent also commented on the trade to Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon. Those comments:

Multiple reporters, including ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, who's close with the Lakers, remain convinced that IT will be coming off the bench. He's not going to start over Lonzo Ball.

Does this mean Isaiah will seek a buyout? Stay tuned...
