Jacob Eason is officially part of a new college football program. The former Georgia quarterback transferred to Washington and he took part in his first Huskies' practice today.

The former five-star recruit announced his intentions to transfer from UGA after the 2017 season. He didn't appear to strongly consider any other schools besides Washington.

Eason left Georgia after he was replaced by Jake Fromm under center. Eason suffered an injury early in the season and Fromm, a true freshman, took over. He led Georgia to the College Football Playoff national title game.

The former top recruit will have to sit out the 2018 season, barring an unexpected waiver. He'll then have two years of eligibility remaining.

Eason will be rocking No. 10 at Washington, like he did Georgia.

Here's the first look at him at practice:

Washington is set to open its 2018 season on Saturday, Sept. 1.

The Huskies are taking on Auburn.
