Florida State's football program appears to be excited about new head coach Willie Taggart. However, the program obviously has to still feel kind of bothered by what Jimbo Fisher did.
It appears you can include Jalen Ramsey in the latter category. He took a shot at Fisher on Twitter.
Texas A&M's football program has been touting Fisher's history of sending players to the NFL on Twitter. Aggies tight ends coach Tim Brewster posted a graphic on Twitter on Monday that didn't sit well with Ramsey.
The graphic boasted about how many defensive backs Fisher has produced. Ramsey, a star defender for the Jacksonville Jaguars, is one of those DBs.
Here's the graphic:
Ramsey doesn't seem to believe that Fisher deserves credit for this, though. He says he didn't teach him anything.
"He didn’t teach me not one DB technique... #ComeGetSomeRealTruth#GoNoles," Ramsey tweeted.
He then replied to Brewster directly, saying:
"Know I have nothing but respect for you Coach Brew but don’t use me on a poster for a school I didn’t go to & for a coach who didn’t teach me how to be a DB."
If Ramsey wasn't Florida State fans' favorite former Seminoles star, he probably is now.
Fisher, meanwhile, is known as an offensive-minded coach. He's spent a lot of his career coaching quarterbacks, not DBs.
