Jameis Winston has struggled with ball security throughout his NFL career. Unsurprisingly, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is struggling with it today.
The Bucs' starting quarterback just threw one of the worst interceptions of the NFL's regular season, completing overthrowing his target in the red zone.
Winston's throw sailed over the head of his target and went right into the arms of a Cincinnati Bengals' defensive back.
Here's the play:
ESPN's Trey Wingo summed up the state of Jameis Winston pretty well:
"Jameis Winston has played 48 games in his NFL career. He’s thrown 50 interceptions and fumbled 21 times. 48 games... 71 turnovers. He is what he is and if you expect it to change at this point.. that’s on you," he tweeted.
That's not a great stat for Jameis.
The Bucs and the Bengals are currently playing on FOX. The game is tied, 0-0, late in the first quarter.
