Jemele Hill Reacts To President Trump Cancelling The Eagles' White House Visit

Jemele Hill speaks on ESPN's SportsCenter.

ESPN's Jemele Hill has reacted to President Trump's decision to cancel the Philadelphia Eagles' White House visit. Unsurprisingly, her response is going viral.

The president announced late on Monday that he had decided to cancel Philadelphia's trip to the White House after only a small delegation of the franchise had opted to come.

"The Philadelphia Eagles Football Team was invited to the White House. Unfortunately, only a small number of players decided to come, and we canceled the event. Staying in the Locker Room for the playing of our National Anthem is as disrespectful to our country as kneeling. Sorry!" Trump tweeted.

Hill, who was suspended by ESPN last year for tweeting that Trump is a "white supremacist," has reacted to the decision on Twitter.

The Eagles have decided to instead have a practice today.

The White House will still be having some kind of ceremony taking place later this afternoon.
