Jim Harbaugh is a strange guy. You knew this already, though.

This is a man who has had sleepovers with high school recruits; he's poured Gatorade into his cereal; he brings his baseball glove to games where he sits behind the net and has no chance at catching anything.

Michigan's head coach has now gotten to the point where he's making up his own words.

Harbaugh has developed a new nickname for his Wolverines' players.

"According to Jim Harbaugh, when you combine a man and a beast you get a 'Meast.' He has noticed two such creatures on his team during winter conditioning," reports 247Sports.

It seems like you could probably just call these players "beasts," but I'm not Jim Harbaugh.

Michigan begins spring practice next Friday. The Wolverines' spring game is set for April 14.

Harbaugh and Co. begin the 2018 regular season on Sept. 1 at Notre Dame.
