Jim Harbaugh Says Michael Jordan Will Be Michigan's Honorary Captain In Week 1

Michigan will become the first college football team to wear an Air Jordan jersey on Sept. 3 against Hawaii. 

The Wolverines will apparently have Air Highness in the building when it happens. 

Jim Harbaugh told The Rich Eisen Show today that Michael Jordan will be Michigan's honorary captain for the first game of the season.

Michigan, previously with adidas, signed a $173 million contract with Nike that will run through 2027.The Wolverines have not yet revealed their new Jordan jerseys, but perhaps they'll look something like this. 

Michigan is expected to begin the 2016 season ranked in the top five.
