This was supposed to be the year for Jim Harbaugh. This was his best Michigan team yet and Ohio State was looking as vulnerable as ever. The Wolverines were supposed to go into Columbus, notch a win, beat Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship Game and head to the College Football Playoff.

That's not happening, of course.

Michigan was blown out by Ohio State, falling to 10-2 on the season. The Buckeyes improved to 11-1. They're the team that's going to the Big Ten Championship Game with major College Football Playoff hopes.

Where does Michigan go from here?

Harbaugh's message to his fans is a simple one.

"We take responsibility for it."

OK then.
