Injury Update For San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo

Jimmy Garoppolo has had a tough day against the Kansas City Chiefs this afternoon and it appears to have just gotten worse. The San Francisco 49ers' star quarterback just took a massive hit and had to leave the game.

Garoppolo, who signed a huge contract extension with the 49ers this offseason, had to leave the game after appearing to injure his left knee.

The 49ers' quarterback took a bit hit near the sideline and his leg appeared to twist in an awkward way.

Jimmy G was stumbling as he got off the field and he didn't appear to be able to put all of his weight on that knee.

Garoppolo has officially left today's game with a knee injury.

He is now being evaluated in the injury tent.

Garoppolo, 26, had thrown for 251 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Chiefs so far today. San Francisco is losing to Kansas City, 38-27, late in the fourth quarter.
