Video: Here's The Goal That Won Team USA The Gold Medal

USA-Canada playing in women's hockey.

The U.S. women's hockey team did something incredible early Thursday morning. The Americans won the gold medal.

It took one hell of an effort - and a ton of minutes on the ice - but Team USA got it done. They beat Canada in a shootout.

It's the U.S.'s first gold medal in women's hockey in 20 years. The Americans last won the gold in 1998.

This win ended Canada's streak of gold medals, too. The Canadians had won four straight gold medals at the Winter Olympics, including a couple of heartbreaking wins over Team USA.

The goal that won it for the Americans was made by Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson. It was ridiculous.

Watch it below:

Geez. That's just unfair. Here's the full video of the final sequence:

The 28-year-old star is one of two Lamoureux sisters on Team USA. She has a twin, Monique, who's also on the squad. Monique scored the game-tying goal in the third period.

That's one hell of a hockey family.
