ESPN college basketball guru Joe Lunardi is changing his national title pick in light of some new information.
Earlier this week, ESPN released a set of picks made by its experts ahead of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. Joe Lunardi, who puts together the network's Bracketology every week, decided to pick overall 1-seed Virginia to cut down the nets.
But after Virginia announced that star sixth man DeAndre Hunter has a broken wrist and won't play in the tournament, Lunardi is apparently changing his pick.
Lunardi hasn't updated his pick on ESPN's official article, but he did say on Twitter that he'll now be going with Michigan State to win it all.
Lunardi hasn't revealed where he has Virginia losing - but he did say he at least has them beating Arizona in the Sweet 16.
Obviously, the timing of Hunter's injury could not be worse for Virginia. But the Cavaliers still have the best defense in the country - so they might still be the toughest out in the tournament.
