Joel Embiid Is In The Hospital After Tonight's Collision

Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid had to be taken to the hospital tonight following his collision with Markelle Fultz in the win over the New York Knicks.

Early in tonight's contest in New York, the All-Star big man collided with his rookie teammate on a botched handoff play. Embiid went to the ground.

Embiid appeared to suffer some type of head/face injury. The Sixers said he had a facial contusion.

After undergoing tests and concussion protocol at the arena, Embiid was taken to the hospital.

The young big man shared an image of himself at the hospital on his Instagram story. He captioned it with "not good."
