Kentucky is moving on. The Wildcats are headed to the Sweet 16.

UK, the No. 5 seed in the South Region, topped No. 13 seed Buffalo in the NCAA Tournament's second round this afternoon. The Wildcats won in a blowout.

It was a tight game for about a half. Then, Coach Cal's players blew it wide open.

Kentucky, which played its first two games in Boise, Idaho, now gets to go play much closer to home. The Wildcats will be playing in Atlanta.

John Calipari tweeted out a message for Big Blue Nation after today's win. He wants to paint the city blue.

"#BBN, let’s bring the WHOLE band to #Catlanta! Let’s paint the city blue like we’ve always done," he wrote.

The Wildcats will face the winner of No. 9 Kansas State/No. 16 UMBC in the Sweet 16 on either Thursday or Friday night. An official game time and TV channel will be out later this weekend.

A potential Elite Eight game could come against No. 2 Cincinnati, No. 7 Nevada or No. 11 Loyola-Chicago.
