The 2018 NCAA Tournament has been a wild one. No team has benefited more from this than Kentucky.

The No. 5-seeded Wildcats appeared to be in the toughest region in the bracket on Selection Sunday. A lot has changed since then.

Kentucky is now the highest-seeded team left in the South. No. 1 Virginia, No. 2 Cincinnati, No. 3 Tennessee and No. 4 Arizona have all lost.

The Wildcats head to the Sweet 16 to face No. 9 seed Kansas State. If they advance, they'll take on either No. 7 Nevada or No. 11 Loyola-Chicago in the Elite Eight.

Another Final Four appearance seems likely.

One of Coach Cal's daughters, Megan, tweeted out a pretty awesome GIF on Sunday in response to Kentucky's NCAA Tournament run.

"That face when people try to tell me my first ballot HOF dad can’t coach..."

Check it out:

OK, that's an awesome GIF.

Well done, Megan.

Kentucky and Kansas State are set to tip off at 9:37 p.m. E.T. on Thursday. The game will be on CBS.
