Jordan Poole Reveals How Many Text Messages He Got After Michigan's Win vs. Houston

Michigan's Jordan Poole celebrates.

Michigan star freshman Jordan Poole hit the biggest shot of the 2018 NCAA Tournament on Saturday night.

The Wolverines' forward nailed a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to give John Beilein's team the win over No. 6 seed Houston.

Michigan is off to the Sweet 16. The Cougars are going home.

Poole, of course, has become the big man on campus.

The star freshman told reporters after the game how many text messages he had already received. His phone was blowing up.

"If my teacher texts me or I get an email or something, that's how I know I've done good," Poole told reporters. "(My text messages) just jumped from 394 to 532."

That's a lot.

Michigan will learn its Sweet 16 opponent later today. The Wolverines will face the winner of the game between North Carolina and Texas A&M.

Official game times and TV channels for the Sweet 16 contests will be out later today.
