Josh Dobbs College GameDay Feature: Tennessee Quarterback Is Changing Lives

ESPN aired a Josh Dobbs College GameDay feature on Saturday sharing a story about the Tennessee quarterback changing one young man's life.

Josh Dobbs is not your typical student-athlete. While he is known for his strong arm and quick feet on the football field, what he does off the field is even more impressive.

Every college athlete around the country leads a busy and stressful life. Their days are jam-packed with school work, meetings, film, practices, classes and of course games. College athletes have to be dedicated, to say the very least.

Dobbs is certainly dedicated to the college athlete's grinding lifestyle, but he still finds moments to reach out and touch the lives of those around him.

Check out this incredible Josh Dobbs College Gameday feature that aired on Saturday morning:

It is incredible to see these stories of people, not just high-profile athletes, take the time and touch the lives of others.

The Alpharetta, Ga. native certainly knows what he's doing out on the gridiron, but he's equally, if not more, impressive in the classroom.

The senior quarterback is an aerospace engineering major. And, in May of 2015, Dobbs took an internship at Pratt & Whitney working on the F135 engine used in the U.S. military’s F-35 warplanes. He also could have graduated a year early from what usually is a five-year program after his junior year based on his credits earned.

Tennessee plays visitor to Georgia on Saturday in an SEC East clash. The game is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. EST and can be seen on CBS.

After seeing this video, it may be a bit difficult not to root for Dobbs.
