The entire 2018 World Cup is on FOX and FS1, a major coup for the network. If you're tuning in, you've probably seen Kate Abdo.

Abdo is the network's host for the tournament. She's a familiar face in the world of soccer as well.

Abdo has been with Fox Sports since 2917. She's been a part of their Champions and Europa League coverage.

In May, Abdo was named the presenter of Turner Sports' Champions League coverage.

Abdo's broadcasting chops are pretty impressive. She's a native of England and has worked for Sky Sports News, DW-TV and CNN. Before Fox Sports hired her full-time, Abdo hosted the 2014 and 2015 FIFA Ballon d'Or ceremonies, utilizing her ability to speak four languages to connect with various interview subjects. Abdo is fluent in English, French, Spanish and German. She also hosted Women's World Cup Tonight for Fox during the 2015 Women's World Cup. As part of her countdown to the World Cup, Abdo posted pictures with some members of soccer royalty, including Cristian Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and Pele.

The World Cup is less than a week old. There's still a month left of the competition.

Expect to see plenty of Abdo during that time.
